Sharp QT-MPA5 / A10 Digital Boombox

sharp6.jpgThe new memory audio system “music carry” from Sharp Corporation allows to transfer music from a PC so you can enjoy your favorite music any where. The flash-memory boombox QT-MPA5 with 512 MB memory and QT-MPA10 with 1GB memory features built in digital AM/FM tuner, embedded memory, sleep timer and USB 2.0 to transfer songs from a PC. They decode MP3 and protected-WMA files downloaded from authorized Web sites, but not authorized WMA subscription downloads. With stereo mini- input and head phone output the boombox measures 410×177×122mm (width x depth x height) and weighs 2.1Kg. They will be available in multiple colors, all running on six AA batteries or household current.

Sony VGP-BRM1D Bluetooth adapter

sony3_03.jpgSony Corporation has launched Bluetooth adaptor 2 “VGP-BRM1D” for HDD walkman, VAIO, CD walkman and MD walkman which have remote control terminal. By connecting Bluetooth transmission unit VGP-BRM1 which also acts as the cradle to the remote control terminal you can enjoy wireless music. Since the receiver has built in microphone it is possible to use blue tooth compatible mobile phones. Use of the exclusive DAC chip reduces the noise level to a great extent. The cradle with the built in lithium ion electric battery (3.7V and 600mAh) takes 2 hrs for a full charge. With external dimensions 67.5×32.2×14.3mm (vertical x side x length), Sony VGP-BRM1D weighs 27.2g.

Sony ICF-B01 hand crank radio

snradi2.jpgThe new hand-crank portable FM/AM radio “ICF-B01” from Sony ensures you’ll never be caught without three important emergency tools: AM/FM/( FM: 76~108MHz (TV1~3ch)/AM: 530~1605kHz) radio, a flashlight, and a cell phone charger. The wind-up generator stores its charge in a built-in nickel electric battery but the radio can also be powered by 2 batteries. One minute of cranking provides up to one hour of Am reception, 40 minutes of FM and cell phone charge lasts for 3 minutes. The battery will give approximately 50 hours of Am and 40 hours of FM listening, 30 hours of LED light and cell phone charge lasting 20 minutes.
