Fujitsu announced today the development of the BroadOne WX series of mobile WiMAX base stations. The BroadOne WX300, an outdoor macrocell base station, is light, energy-efficient, and - as the smallest in its class- occupies less space, which makes it economical to deploy. Wireless broadband is widely expected to transform the way people live and work in the next-generation network era, as it promises high-speed, high-capacity connectivity to everyone, everywhere. The base stations consume low levels of power, deliver superior performance, and are easy to install.

Toshiba today announced that it has realized the world's fastest circuit technology for embedded DRAM for System LSI, achieving a speed of 833MHz at 32Mb density. The technology will be applied to graphic processing LSI. Embedded DRAM are applied to systems on chips for graphic application, as they can read larger data amounts at higher speeds than external memory. As video images achieve higher levels of definition, higher processing speeds of larger densities are required. To realize high speed operation, Toshiba applied a "pseudo two port system," a technology that virtually divides the overall memory into two and then reads and writes data in parallel and alternately. By replacing conventional serial read and write system with the new parallel technology, and optimizing such circuits as the command structure, Toshiba achieved the world's highest level of embedded DRAM performance ad 32Mb, a density actually applicable to products.
Car manufacturer ZAP based in California has announced that it is on the verge of creating a three-wheeled electric sports car that can travel faster than a Porsche. The environmentally friendly futuristic-looking two-seater ZAP Alias being developed with the help of British car company Lotus does 0 to 60mph in just 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 156mph. ZAP Alias is powered by two electric wheel motors, one driving each of the car's front wheels. Unlike a Reliant Robin, the single wheel is at the back. Together the Alias's motors generate an impressive 321.85 horse power - as much as a Porsche 911 Carrera, which costs approximately $117, 40. The ZAP Alias will cost $29,350 approximately.
Flying at more than twice the speed of Concorde and five times the speed of sound, this hypersonic airliner is set to be the future of modern air travel. The revolutionary aircraft with a top speed of 3,400mph aims to fly between London (or Brussels) and Sydney in under five hours. Billed as the "Son of Concorde", the commercial plane is designed to carry 300 passengers and will reach speeds of Mach 5 – five times the speed of sound. Its hi-tech liquid hydrogen-powered engines will also produce few carbon emissions, making air travel much greener. Alan Bond, a senior engineer in the project, partly funded by the European Space Agency and the European Union, yesterday described the aircraft as "unique". The ground-breaking aircraft - known as the A2 – is the work of British engineers at Reaction Engines Limited in Oxfordshire. Mr. Bond, managing director of Reaction Engines Ltd, said that from a standing start and with the requisite political will, the plane could be flying commercially within 15 years.
At 433ft long (132m), the A2 is half the length of the Titanic and weighs 400 tones, lighter than a Boeing 747. To reach Mach 3 the plane initially generates thrust through engines similar to those used in conventional jet aircraft. But beyond Mach 3, a specialist unit pre-cools the super-heated air generated by flying at high speeds before it enters the turbines, preventing the engines from melting.
The first time exposure of complete Thermaltake ESA hardware platform has already caught much attention with live demonstration at the CES Las Vegas early January. The Thermaltake Armor+ case had been highly recommended since its launch in 2007 winter, this new ESA version also comes with the leading features of 10 PCI slots, sliding motherboard tray with smart cable management and independent thermal management which were all heatedly discussed among PC enthusiasts.
Toughpower PSU from Thermaltake on the other hand, was famed of its premium design, high reliability and efficiency with tight regulation; 850 Wattage model of the most demanded model on the present market had been chosen to be the first ESA PSU.
Thermaltake Bigwater 780e had further advanced the well-liked space saving and instant installation characteristics of previous Bigwater 760i with increased coolant circulation amount and more convenient operation indicator.
