Recycle gadgets with responsibility for a green future: Today, I thought I’d write about something that is close to my heart – Recycling. Each day, we come across new gadgets, like MP3s, cell phones, cameras, computers and other doodads that intend to satiate our thirst for technology. But in a bid to make our lives easy with such tech, we are adding on to the ever-rising harmful e-waste landfills. Since electronics have a short shelf life, usually just a few years until they turn outdated or obsolete, its time to gear up to the need of recycling gadgets. Most electronics can be recycled because they have metal and other materials that are of value to recyclers. But how can you do it appropriately? WasteCare offers a unique recycling and waste management service that enables waste producers from all industrial and business sectors to manage and report their waste, from collection to recovery regardless of the type, volume or location.
