I find cell phones a tad tiresome and I never seem to keep a track of mine which leads to a lot of complaining from my friends and loved ones. I'm absolutely floored looking at the Melty Bitter (brown), and Melty Strawberry (pink) phones which have a 3D effect chocolate case, chocolate themed menus and wallpapers, and packaging just like your favorite Belgian pralines. It doesn't get any better than texting on chocolate phones without adding any calories. The phone has an 8MP camera emblazoned with the words "give me a sweet smile", a 3 inch screen, and a Japanese system TV tuner. - iPhone gets ready to fight Samsung and LG on their home turf
South Korea’s telecom regulator today approved the local sale of Apple’s iPhone, paving the way for Apple to make inroads into a market long dominated by Korean handset makers-Samsung and LG. Currently, cellphone makers or mobile carriers should be registered as providers of the location-base service, which enable them to locate callers, before being allowed to sell the handsets with such a service here. KT, South Korea’s second-largest mobile carrier, will begin selling service plans for the phone on Nov. 28.With the iPhone’s entrance into the South Korean market, local manufacturers Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, both major players in the global mobile phone market, will be competing for local customers.

- South Korea develops new technology for making safe rechargeable lithium batteries
The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute engineers have come up with the technology for a new “separator” that is resistant to external heat and impact. High temperatures and weakness to impact have been cited for causing fires and explosions in battery cells in the past. KAERI said the new separator, made by mixing polyethylene, nano-alumina and flourine-based resin and subjecting this compound to radiation, has effectively overcome weaknesses of existing batteries. Tests showed that the new separator maintains its ability to act as an electric insulator even if subject to heat of 150 degrees Celsius and considerable outside impact.

- Toshiba develops molecular photoresist technology for EUV lithography with world's first 20nm-scale generation process technology
Toshiba has developed a high resolution photoresist (photo-sensitive film) essential for future application of EUV (extreme ultraviolet) lithography in semiconductor fabrication, and proved its viability with the world's first 20nm-scale generation process technology. As semiconductor process technology advances and wiring densities get even higher, use of conventional polymer photoresists—the base materials for conventional semiconductor resist—will face hurdles. By the time lithography technology advances into the 20nm-scale generation, use of today's argon fluoride laser exposure apparatus and polymer photoresists will result in difficulties in achieving required resolutions. The solution lies in a transition to EUV lithography and photoresist based on low molecular materials.
