pcb.jpgToppan NEC has developed the world's thinnest printed circuit board with embedded components. Using a unique processing method, Toppan NEC was able to eliminate a layer known as the base plate to which components are anchored inside a typical circuit board. As a result, the new product is just 0.34mm thick, 10-20% thinner than conventional printed circuit boards of this type. Conventional boards require embedded components to be soldered to the base plate in order for electricity to pass through them.

Samsung captures 90 percent of the global 3D TV market !
samsung-3d-lcd-_tv.jpg Samsung has sold 270,000 3D TV sets worldwide as of the end of May. Samsung occupies a whopping 90 percent of the global 3D TV market. Samsung also launched the 3D LED LCD TV in March for the first time in the world. LG also released its own 3D LED LCD TV in April and sold 5,000 units in the domestic market as of the end of last month. LG plans to export the new 3D LED LCD TV in the near future.

The Graphite Series 600T incorporates many of the same builder-friendly features from the award-winning Obsidian Series 700D and 800D, including advanced cable management and a large backplate cutout for easy CPU cooler installation. Specific design steps were taken to enable advanced watercooling configurations, including support for a dual 120mm radiator. Cooling is taken care of by one 200mm front intake fan with an easy-access dust-filter, plus one 200mm and one 120mm exhaust fan. An integrated fan controller allows for flexible control over fans speeds to balance cooling performance and sound levels.

Corsair's signature LED peak meters are used to reflect memory activity by module and memory rank. In addition, LEDs in the center of the display adjust their color based on the measured temperature of the memory module.

The new system uses Epson's high-temperature polysilicon TFT LCD drive technology and Philips' lamp technology, and achieves improvements in both projector image contrast and energy consumption. The combination of the two companies' technologies have resulted in a light control system that improves contrast by approximately 500% and energy consumption by up to half compared to conventional systems used in 3LCD projectors.
