Toyota offers car navigation service via smartphone in Japan

The new screen is the first large-scale LED screen installed at Hiratsuka City's multi-use athletics stadium, also the home stadium of J. League Division 1 soccer club Shonan Bellmare. The 17.76 meter × 9.84 meter screen incorporates high-luminance light-emitting diodes (LEDs) aligned vertically and horizontally in a 15-millimeter dot pitch and the latest digital screen controllers, and is able to display high-definition video content. The screen, installed on the stadium's south side, will display textual and graphic information as well as live videos and slow-motion replays. The screen system is compatible with personal computers, allowing data on sporting events to be displayed on screen.

Nissan Leaf is the Worlds first electric vehicle to win the prestigious European Car of the Year award

Nissan LEAF is powered by a compact electric motor in the front of the car, which drives the front wheels. The AC motor develops 80 kW of power and 280 Nm of torque, enough for a maximum speed of 145 km/h (90 mph). The electric motor is powered by a Nissan-developed laminated lithium-ion battery with an output of more than 90 kW. The car has a range of 175 km (New European Driving Cycle) between charges making it a practical proposition for many urban drivers.

SanDisk, Sony and Nikon propose for standard high-speed memory card format with data transfer rates of up to 500 MB/sec!

The three companies proposed the specifications to the CompactFlash Association, the international standards organization, with the intent to standardize the format. The proposed specifications achieve data transfer rates of up to 500 megabytes per second (MB/sec) (theoretical maximum interface speed) using the highly versatile PCI Express interface. The increased speeds will enable imaging and video applications that could not be accomplished using the current CompactFlash specification's Parallel ATA (PATA) interface. CF6.0, released in November 2010, offers maximum performance of up to 167MB/sec.The new specifications' faster speeds enable continuous burst shooting of massive RAW images.
