Sharp Large Digital Signage Systems for EHF can be set up and dismantled in a short period of time

The systems will be set up and operated at EHF-hosted match venues, including those where EHF Champions League matches are held. Used for the courtside display of advertisements, these multi-monitor systems each comprise a total of 30 Sharp PN-V601 60-inch LCD monitors boasting ultra-slim bezels that make the lines between neighboring monitors nearly seamless. To ensure safety, the surface of the LCD monitors is covered with a transparent protective sheet. These display systems were designed for transport to various venues throughout Europe and can be set up and dismantled in a short period of time.

One million Samsung Galaxy S2 sold in Korea in one month

The sale figure only accounts for the number of smartphones that were sold to wireless carriers and not consumers. This means that the number of Galaxy S2 sold may very well exceed the carrier’s sale figure. The Galaxy S2 smartphone is Samsung’s fastest-selling phone, reaching the milestone in less than half the 70 days it took the original Galaxy S to hit the mark. The Galaxy S2 debuted in Korea in late April and sold 100,000 units in just three days, 200,000 in eight days and half a million in 18 days.

The satellite, built for a joint venture between Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom Company Limited (Chunghwa Telecom), was launched from Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana at 17:38 on May 20 (local time) using an Ariane5 launch vehicle. After launch, the mission control center at Mitsubishi Electric's Kamakura Works located in Kamakura, Japan guided the ST-2 through a series of procedures to deploy its solar arrays and antennas and to inject the satellite into geostationary orbit.
