Canon launches three new high-speed Production Scanners
Canon U.S.A., today unveiled the imageFORMULA DR-9050C, DR-7550C and DR-6050C production scanners. First previewed at the 2009 AIIM / On Demand Trade Show and Exposition this year, these scanners deliver true high-speed scanning, capable of providing enterprises with reliable, flexible and high image-quality scanning solutions to enhance document management systems. Whether scanning in color, grayscale or black-and-white, the Canon DR-9050C, DR-7550C and DR-6050C scanners maintain scanning speeds up to 112 pages-per-minute (ppm)/225 images-per-minute (ipm), 90ppm/180ipm and 65ppm/130ipm, respectively.
All three Canon scanners include an on-board image processing chip, which enables them to maintain high scanning speeds even when multiple image-processing functions are enabled. The Canon DR-9050C, DR-7550C and Canon DR-6050C scanners will be replacing Canon imageFORMULA DR-9080C and DR-7580 production scanners.The imageFORMULA DR-9050C/7550C/6050C production scanners are available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $9,975 for the DR-9050C, $6,775 for the DR-7550C, and $5,775 for the DR-6050C.
