Iomega announced two new portable hard drives for PC and Mac users with industry-leading capacity, performance and backup capabilities: the Iomega Portable Hard Drive 250GB Hi-Speed USB 2.0, and the Iomega Portable Hard Drive 200GB Hi-Speed USB 2.0. With the maximum capacity and performance available today in the small form factor category, Iomega's two newest portable hard drives are perfect for students, travelers, and mobile professionals who need to secure, protect and transport their digital files. Both of Iomega's new portable hard drives are USB-powered, so installation is easy: just connect the drive to a host PC with the included USB cable. The metallic silver drive enclosure is rugged and attractive, and together with Iomega Drop Shock technology, helps protect data from the inevitable bumps and dings of portable use.
