Logitech today announced the Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks with Bluetooth Technology, allowing people to connect directly to Bluetooth-enabled MacBook computers or Windows-based notebook PCs – without an external receiver. The Logitech V470 mouse features Bluetooth 1.2 wireless technology and laser tracking. And with its Side-to-Side Scrolling Plus Zoom, people can instantly zoom in and out, or scroll horizontally or vertically with ease. It has a battery life of up to 4 months, as well as a battery-life indicator light.

Available in high-gloss blue and white, the V470 mouse is expected to be available in Europe and the U.S. beginning in September with a suggested retail price of $49.99 in the U.S.
