Scythe SDA-1000 digital amplifier

Scythe, Japan has launched the 2 channel digital amplifier SDA-1000 for use with a desktop PC cabinet. The amplifier can be installed in any of the 5 inch bay of cabinet. The digital amplifier is powered by PC power. You can also use it as a standard amplifier with the supplied AC adaptor. The Yamaha made amplifier has a maximum 10 W × 2ch out put with a S / N ratio of 103 dB. Besides power and mute switch, the front panel has a headphone output. The kit comes with a spare silver color front panel also. Rear connections include analog left/right speaker input and RCA inputs.

The Scythe 2 channel digital amplifier SDA-1000 can also be used with MP3 players, game consoles, audio equipment etc. The SDA-1000 digital amplifier measures 152 x 113 x 41mm,weighs 480 g and will be available from mid November for approximately 6,980 yen ($61).
