Sony Japan has announced Vista Ready Boost pocket bit mini- USM-HX series USB drives in 1GB and 2GB capacity. The new pocket bit mini- USM-HX series is available in 2 colors- black and white. The new series boost a luxury look with gold color decoration at the base. The new USB drive comes with file encoding software, virtual expander software and secret file lock. The drive comes with a 2 way carrying case.

The new Sony pocket bit mini- USM-HX series USB drives measure 14.5×32×2.7mm, weighs 1.5g and is compatible with OS Windows Me/2000/XP/Vista and Mac. The1GB drive costs approximately 4,000 Yen ($34) and 2GB for 6,200 Yen ($52 ) from September 2nd.
