Canon today announced two new additions to the popular SELPHY compact photo printer line: the SELPHY ES3 and SELPHY ES30. A first for a Canon compact photo printer, the SELPHY ES3 will now include one gigabyte of internal flash memory for storage of memorable photos. Both models combine stylish, updated designs with new creative photo printing options - including new Gold and Silver Easy Photo Packs, larger LCD screens of 3.5” (SELPHY ES3) and 3.0” (SELPHY ES30), and three all-new image effects: Modern Bright, Pinhole Camera and Nostalgic. A variety of 15 types of memory cards are supported from Compact Flash to microSD cards, which can now be inserted without the use of an adaptor. While retaining the space-saving ES vertical operation – which outputs prints to the top of the printer – the Canon SELPHY ES3 and SELPHY ES30 offer new, curvaceous designs, with reduced footprints for even easier storage. A fixed carry handle offers enhanced portability, while memory card slots have been relocated for faster access.
