Olympus E-1's successor Coming Soon!

The teaser posted on the Olympus European site of a DSLR wrapped in silk with “Coming Soon “caption indicates that after 4 years Olympus is all set to launch the successor to their E-1 digital DSLR. From the teaser it looks like that the new professional Olympus DSLR is in final stage of launch or is ready for production. Except for the tease no details are available.

olympus.jpgOlympus has exhibited a mock-up model at Photo kina 2006, PMA07 and photo imaging EXPO 2007 fairs. One thing for sure the new DSLR is going to be more advanced with lots of innovations for which Olympus is famous and will be light, compact and fast than the present professional DSLR,s available in the market. In the mean time let’s keep our fingers crossed!
