Dolby Axon allows players to experience 3D Voice Technology
Dolby today announced the adoption of Dolby Axon, its 3D voice communication platform, in two upcoming online games. Jumpgate Evolution, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game by NetDevil, and Mission Against Terror, an online first-person shooter (FPS) game by Kingsoft, will allow their players to experience an entirely new level of immersion in game play with Dolby’s Axon voice technology. Jumpgate Evolution is an MMO set in a persistent science fiction world. It utilizes a fully immersing “twitch-based” system that allows the player to engage in combat in a ship-to-ship action-oriented style.
Mission Against Terror (MAT) is an FPS game developed by Kingsoft Dalian JingCai Studio. Originally developed in China, MAT delivers an exciting online tournament experience.
