BLUEDOT portable DVD players BDP-1460W/ BDP-1710
The Bluedot Corporation has launched 2 budget models of portable DVD players. Model BDP-1460W comes with a 4” screen while model BDP-1710 has a 7”screen. Both models support playback of DVD±R/RW and CD-R/RW. In addition, they can also play JPEG picture and the MP3 file recorded in CD-R and DVD-R. BlueDot’s BDP-1460W portable DVD player has a maximum resolution 480×272, while model BDP-1710 has a maximum resolution 480×234 which is slightly higher than the previous BlueDot’s BDP-1720AS model. Measuring 130×138×33mm, model BDP-1460W with analog AV and headphone output weighs 520g (with battery). Continual DVD playback time with LCD on is approximately 2 hours and 3 hours with LCD off.
Model BDP-1710 measures 190×142×37mm, weighs 850g and continual DVD playback time with LCD on approximately 2.5 hours and 3 hours with LCD off. Bluedot portable DVD player BDP-1460W will be available from July 7th and BDP-1710 from July 20th.Suggested retail price starts at approximately 20,000yen ($172).
