Hitachi Corporation Japan has launched 7” liquid crystal television set “DVL-7TV” with built in DVD / CD player, FM radio and clock. The compact, stylish TV can be used in the bed room, kitchen etc. The DVD player besides DVD video can playback video recorded in DVD-R also. In addition, it can play music CD, MP3 and JPEG files. The built in analog terrestrial tuner supports CATV also. The 2ch built in speakers has decent output for a small room- 0.5w×2ch. With the included Remote control you can control this multimedia wonder.

The Hitachi DVL-7TV has a power consumption 13w (standby1.8w), weighs 1.1Kg with external dimensions-268×96×176mm (width x depth x height). The LCD TV will be available for approximately 39,800 Yen ($ 320) by 3rd week of March in Japan.
