Internet radio IR-001W from Scitec Corporation

scit02.jpgThe Scitec Corporation’s Internet radio“IR-001W” with built in wireless LAN plays MP3/WMA/RealMedia files in real time. The silver colored slanted radio is based on Reciva technology can receive broadcasts from approximately 99% of radio stations on the Internet, placing a world of digital audio at your fingertips. Using the Reciva browser, internet radio IR-001W can receive radio stations from a comprehensive list categorised by name, geography, genre and favorites. The wireless lan of IEEE802.11b/g conformity is utilized in connection with the network. WEP(Wired Equivalent Privacy) setting of 64/128bit is possible and also to WPA(Wi-Fi Protected Access is a class of systems to secure wireless (Wi-Fi) computer networks). The radio with a monaural amplifier and 3W speaker has a stereo mini- head phone output.

The internet radio IR-001W measures 120×120×105~160mm and weighs 1.1Kg. The product will be available from July 12th for approximately 30,000 Yen ($260).
