Samsung to showcase World's Thinnest TV at CES 2009

samsung_thinnest_Tv.jpg Samsung has developed the world's thinnest television. Samsung will showcase the 6.5mm thick LCD TV at CES 2009. The world's thinnest TV is 2mm thinner than the Samsung's last product, introduced at IFA 2008 in Germany last August.

Sony is producing 9.9mm thick TVs. Samsung's newest model cannot house a tuner or receiver within its unit, but comes with a separate tuner device.
