Sony RDR-VH85 and RDR-VH95 3 in 1 Recorders


Sony's new 3 in 1 recorders “RDR-VH95” and “RDR-VH85“ allows recording to VHS/ DVD and it in built hard drive. Main specification of both the models are same except for the HDD capacity- VH95 250GB HDD capacity while VH85 160GB HDD capacity. Video recording time (HDD) XP: Approximately 60 hours SP (standard): Approximately 107 hours, LP: Approximately 215 hours, EP: Approximately 322 hours for model RDR-VH95 ' (HDD250GB), for model RDR-VH85 (HDD160GB):-XP: Approximately 39 hours, SP (standard): Approximately 68 hours, LP: Approximately 137 hours and EP: Approximately 206 hours. The video is recorded in MPEG format (HDD/DVD) and audio in Dolby digital (2ch), linear PCM (at XP mode video recording).

Power consumption is 38w and external size is 430 × 356 × 95mm (width x depth x height).The approximate weight is 6.9kg. Both the recorders will be available from February 21st the VH95 will go for 80,000 Yen ($ 650) and VH85 for 70,000 Yen ($ 560).
