Samsung_eco.jpg Samsung Electronics' environmentally-friendly mobile phone 'Eco' (SCH-W510) is the first handset to acquire the 'E-Mark' from the Environment Ministry's Korea Eco Product Institute. The cover of the Samsung Eco phone is made of eco-friendly materials containing 40 percent bioplastics made from fermented corn starch. It also complies with the EU's restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) directives and used no brominated flame retardants (BFRs) for its printed circuit board.
