Altec Lansing inMotion iM500 for iPod nano

marub_1.jpgAltec Lansing has unveiled its inMotion iM500, compact, lightweight and super-thin portable audio system for Apple's iPod nano.The iM500 uses innovative broad-faced speaker cones, which provide more surface area to drive more air within a small space. Further, the sound is enhanced by MaxxBass technology for greater bass performance. With amplifier section output of 2W×2ch and playback frequency range of 120Hz~20 kHz; you are assured stunning, surprisingly clear sound. Besides iPod nano you can connect personal MP3 players etc via the 2.5mm stereo mini- input and to PC via the USB port. The device charges as well as syncs the iPod nano while playing tracks and can operate on either battery or AC power.

The lightweight and ultra thin inMotion iM500 compact speaker system with an efficient fold-away design, folds to a close 215×128×17mm and weighs only 340g. Six AAA batteries (not included) are required for battery operation. The iM500 will be available from early August with a protective carrying pouch for approximately 15,800 Yen ($135).
