Digital cowboy Japan has launched a new water resistant JIS 4 (IPX4) class AM/FM radio with MP3 player- DC-SCDP1/256. With 256MB flash memory built in the player has a SD card slot also. With maximum 1GB support the player can play MP3/WMA files with 32~320kbps bit rate. The player does not support WMA DRM file playback. Music transfer from personal PC is fast via USB 2.0.Sound recording from the radio is not possible. Sound out put is 0.5W×2ch and play back frequency is 80Hz~20 kHz. Being water resistant the player can be used in bath room, kitchen etc.The player can be hanged or can be used as a table model also.

Measuring 130×60×130mm, weighing approximately 415g, the Digital cowboy player is available for 9,980 Yen ($ 85) approximately.
