Illuminated active speaker system in Rubik's Cube design from Megahouse

Megahouse has launched an illuminated active speaker system in Rubik's Cube design. Rubik's Cube is a mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by the Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Erno Rubik. It is said to be the world's biggest-selling toy, with some 300,000,000 Rubik's Cubes and imitations sold worldwide. The new toy is only a speaker system and not a puzzle. With a 3.5mm stereo mini- input, 125mW×2ch out put the cube is a pleasant to watch. This 3×3×3 version, has nine square faces on each side, for a total area of fifty-four faces and each square lights up in red/green/orange colors in 27 different combinations. The lights blinks according to the tempo of music played.

The cube comes with 3 built in tunes which you can enjoy without any external digital player. The cube is powered with battery or via AC adaptor and can be placed in slanted position also. Weighing 150g, the Megahouse illuminated speaker system in Rubik's Cube design will be available by late October for approximately 5,250 Yen ($43).
