JVC Alneo XA DAP series
JVC Japan has launched a new Alneo XA DAP series. With a slim, colorful body, the JVC new Alneo DAP is available in 4 GB/2 GB and 1 GB capacity- XA-M40/20/or 10. The players are available in five eye catching colors-blue, black, gold and white. Up to 100 favorite songs list can be stored under favorite menu. The players can reproduce MP3/WMA/WMA-DRM10/WAV audio files. The built in FM radio and voice recorder provides a frequency response of 60Hz-20 kHz. Six line organic EL display (black-and-white) is very sharp and easy read even in sun light.
The built in lithium ion battery lasts for 35 hours of continuous playback (MP3 128kbps) and takes about three hours to charge. The JVC Alneo XA DAP measures 40.7 × 80.2 × 11.1mm and weigh 30 g.
The 4 GB XA-M40 costs approximately 16,000 yen ($148), 2GB XA-M20 for 14,000 yen ($130) and 1GB XA-M10 for 12,000 yen ($111). The ½ GB model will be launched in Japan by early September and the 4GB by early October.
