MPIO has announced their new flash-based, the MG-300 with 320 x 240 resolution 2.4 inch LCD screen. The player supports AVI format for video play back. The MPIO MG-300 is available in 2/4/8 GB capacity and in black color. The player supports- MP3 (8 ~ 320kbps), WMA (32 to 355kbps), APE (Fast / Normal).You can play JPEG, BMP, Gif images also. Other features include- a voice recorder, FM tuner and normal/3D/Rock/Pop/Classical/Bass/Jazz/User settings. It also supports SD cards up to 2GB.

The integrated lithium-ion rechargeable battery lasts for 5 hours of continuous video playback and about 20 hours of music playback. The battery is charged via USB and it takes three hours for a full charge. MPIO MG-300 will be available in Japan by January 2008.The player measures 95.3 x 48.4 x 12.5mm and weigh 56g (body only).
