Princeton 2.1 channel speakers for iPod

Princeton technology Japan has launched cradle type active speaker “PSP-312IPIR” for iPod with a wireless remote control. The private 2.1ch multimedia speakers are available in two different colors- PSP-312IPIRW (white) and 1312IPIRB (black). All the 13 buttons function of the remote can control fourth and fifth generation- iPod/iPod nano/iPod U2 Special Edition/iPod Photo/iPod mini series. The remote is not compatible with the first and second generation ipod.The range of the remote is up to 10 meters. The stereo mini input allows connecting other portable audio players and iPod without dock connector. The output is 3w×2ch and sub woofer 6w and playback frequency - 280Hz - the 20. The frequency range of 63mm sub woofer is 80 - the 250Hz.

The system is powered via AC adapter or by a single alkaline battery with continuous play up to 25 hours. The speaker measures 196 × 35 × 138mm and weighs 420 grams. The 2.1ch multimedia speaker- PSP-312IPIR will be available by mid January for approximately 12,800 Yen. ($ 90)
