Princeton Cuby - iPod Shuffle dock

Princeton Japan has announced the dock portable speaker Cuby for second generation iPod Shuffle. Powered by 3 x AA batteries the dock with 28mm diameter neodymium speakers on both sides delivers 0.5W×2ch output. With 20Hz~18 kHz playback frequency the Cuby connects with the Shuffle via the head phone output and to the PC via USB cable for transfer of files. When connected to the PC it draws power from the USB port thus saving on battery life. The Cuby plays continuously for 5 hrs with fresh batteries.

The Princeton Cuby measures 49×49×59mm and weighs 95 grams. The Princeton will be available from mid July for approximately 3980 Yen ($ 33) in Japan.
