airpenmini.jpg Pental Japan has announced the launch of digital pen-airpenMini. The airpenMini digital pen uses Ultrasound / infrared system and comes with a special pen pressure-sensitive switch on the pen tip. When the digital pen nib is pressed, the pressure on writing is reduced. What is written on the paper with the airpenMini is stored on the mini memory unit. The memory unit with 2MB memory can store up-to 100 pages (A5) equivalent matter. Data is transferred to the PC from the memory unit very fast when connected. genri_fig.jpg The receiving unit is charged via USB while the pen is powered by 2 SR41 button cells. The airpenMini digital pen measures 10.5 × 145mm (diameter × length),weigh 17 g(without batteries and pen tip).The receiver unit measures 68 × 31 × 21mm and weigh approximately 80 g. The digital is compatible with OS- Windows 2000/XP/Vista (32bit) and is available in Japan for approximately 14,800 yen ($155).
