Desk-top Christmas tree with 408 diamonds for 1.8162 million dollars!

The tree will be priced at 200.7 million yen ($1.8162 million) to mark the year 2007. Only one desk-top Christmas tree encrusted with 408 diamonds will go on sale. Takashimaya Company Limited (Takashimaya) is a Japanese company, primarily engaged in the retail business. The company sells clothing, personal items, household goods, utensils and food items through its stores.

Takashimaya and its subsidiaries also provide consumer credit services, including store credit cards, financing and real estate services as well as contract and design services. The company operates primarily in Japan. It is headquartered in Osaka, Japan and employs about 11,000 people.
