Hello Kitty made of 42,400 high class Swarovski glass crystals for $64,824 only
The Hello Kitty adult fan annual sale by Sanrio Company Ltd will commence from 24th of this month at the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi departmental store in Japan. There are 800 limited hello kitty items for sale this year. The main attraction will be the one-of-its-kind doghouse, decorated with some 7,600 high class Swarovski glass crystals and a cushion bearing Hello Kitty’s face. The one and only luxury dog house is worth about 3.9 million yen ($32,000). The luxury dog house is designed in collaboration with the maker of high-end pet goods-Cummings. Also on sale will be the one and onlyHello Kitty made of 42,400 high class Swarovski glass crystals for approximately 8,000,000 Yen ($64,824).
During the previous year weeklong sales event aimed at adult Kitty fans include a Kitty-themed “i” minicar from Mitsubishi Motors Co. and a Hello Kitty Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, sold last year for 2.52 million yen (US$20,460). There were 6 people interested to buy the guitar within 10 minutes of the opening of the sale event.This year lots will be drawn in the event that more than one person offers to buy the doghouse or the Hello Kitty.
