Evolta Robot powered by two Evolta alkaline batteries creates a new Guinness World Record

panasonic_evolta.jpg Panasonic showed that its Evolta alkaline batteries are the best in the world on Thursday when a small robot car powered by two Evolta alkaline batteries completed five and a half laps at the Le Mans racing circuit in France in 24 hours. The robot covered a distance of 23.726 kilometers, certified by Guinness World Records as the longest distance traveled by a remote-controlled robot. panasonic_evolta_a.jpg panasonic_evolta_b.jpg Measuring 30 centimeters long, 20 cm wide and 20 cm high, the Evolta Robot was guided around the circuit by an infra-red beam emitted from the back of a car.
